Safety and Responsibility at the Event
General Information about the Event
- The event is free of charge, open to everyone, and suitable for all ages.
- The event is alcohol-free and smoke-free. No alcohol is served in the area.
- Taitaja2025 is organized by the Turku Vocational Institute and the City of Turku in close cooperation with local authorities.
- During the event, security is monitored by trained security personnel.
- Traffic control is in operation within the area.
- Please follow the instructions given by safety personnel.
- Security staff have the right to remove any intoxicated or disruptive individual from the event.
- Movement within the Taitaja event area is permitted on foot only or by using the designated Taitaja train for visitors.
- Advertising or distributing any materials at the event is prohibited unless done by the event organizers or official partners.
First Aid
- Mobile first aid teams operate throughout the event.
- Event staff will assist and guide visitors to the three available first aid stations located around Taitaja City.
- In an emergency, always call 112. Provide the address depending on your location:
- Turku Fair Center (Messukentänkatu 9–13)
- Turku AKK (Artukaistentie 11–13)
- Gatorade Center (Artukaistentie 8)
- After calling, always inform a member of the event staff.
Rules for Conduct at Taitaja – Permitted and Prohibited Activities
- Pets are welcome in outdoor areas of the event. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
- Photography is allowed at the event. However, please do not disturb the competitors or interfere with their performances. Audience movement must not be obstructed, and setting up tripods or other equipment is not permitted.
- Flying drones is strictly prohibited at the event.
- Please park only in designated parking areas. Motor vehicles and bicycles must be left in their respective parking zones.
- Scooters, skateboards, and other small personal transport devices must be checked into the cloakroom during your visit. The cloakroom service is free of charge.
Prohibited Items at the Event:
- Weapons
- Objects that could be used to cause harm
- Explosives
- Intoxicating substances
